George- The camera I have is an off-the-shelf SONY Mini-DV. From my experience, stick with tape (Mini DV). Cheap and Reliable....one of the few things that IS 'cheap and reliable' in this hobby.

I wouldn't doubt that...she has a background in sport bikes and was a Motorcyle Courier in England while she worked her way through law school, and is very competitive. I may be in trouble....

Sure....I wish mine was a Cup. I really don't know alot about the 993 Cups (other than I want one). I think 38D (Colin) or Charlie may be better sources of info.

This explains some things to me. For her first time, she looked pretty smooth and under control. I wondered what kind of prior experience she had. She's a keeper!

(Oh, and I do not know too much about 993 Cups.)

Got your PM and replied, happy to have brain picked.

But I'll share my basic philosophy with everyone: love the 993 Cup, but race a 964 Cup.

I'm not that fast at RRR...I have trouble with 5 no matter how I try it. In my car (avatar) I'm usually around 1:21-ish. I cracked a 1:20 once...no idea how I did it.

You must blow that to bits in your car with the straight-away speed you can acquire. My 280 HP leaves a bit to be desired on the straight...loL! My skills are not that of some others who have driven my car at RRR... and were 3-4 secs. quicker.

My strong points at RRR: T-1 thru 4 and T-7 thru 9. T-5 is where I know I can improve ALOT.
