Thought that would be the case.

One other thing to think about is the comparison in body size between you and your wife. It's pretty easy to build an insert in the seats with the high bolsters like the Recaro HANS so the smaller person doesn't slide around.

Have you sat in a car with the seat that low? My friend who is 5'9"-5'10" looks right at the edge of the dash and through the wipers when he sits in my car. It screws up his viewing angle over the front end too.

Gaining height is the easy part of the equation. I have tried viewing through the windsheild wipers, it doesn't work for me. A little up from there is all I need to be able to see and have comfortable roof/top roll hoop clearance.
