Default Chin comes to Road Atlanta

I'm very excited about this, couldnt have asked for a better replacement for Panoz, they are almost exactly the same with TONS of tracktime. Only two events in 08' but I'm sure they'll add more after they see the demand.

This will give us locals our fix on top of PCA events and just in case you didnt get your check in on time and it filed up on the first day like it does sometimes.

Well there are only two events this year, a one day and a two day, but hopefully they'll have at least 4 a year by 09.

I remember Mark talking about this at VIR in December that they were still "in negotiations" and things were looking good. Very excited when I got the email yesterday. I'll definitely be going to at least one of them if not both.

I'm glad to hear someone is picking up the "track day ball", I have no experience with Chin. What are their weekends like? Organized? Track time? Passing with or w/o point bys? Driver quality?

TIA.

Brian.

Chin is by the far the BEST organization I have run with. Yes you need point-bys but you will be pulled off the track if you are a rolling chicane. The run groups are relatively small as the entire event is small.

Very well run and organized very well. Totally worth the membership in Chin.

Possibly twice as much track time as lots of other clubs.
