Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. Registration for the Zone 2 DE at VIR on March 14-16, 2008 opens on January 14th for PCA members only. If it isn't sold out by March 28, it will open to non-PCA members.

Registration will be done online at www.driverregistration.com In addition, there will be a hard copy available at http://zone2.pca.org/ Mailed copies will only be accepted if they have a postmark of Jan. 14th or later.

A big thanks to Rebecca Morgan for doing an awesome job of registrar in the past. She's been promoted to the position of PCA VIR Club Race Registrar.

Last year this event filled up within 24 hours, if I recall correctly.
Lots of fun and a great way to get an early start on the track season (for those of us from the Northeast) - assuming I can get my trailer out of the snow banks, that is.

Here's a quick tip - If you haven't already got an account on DriverRegistration.com - log on now and create one. The site will send you an email to verify that your email account is "proven good". If there's any snags with the account verification process you can eliminate them now and not miss out on the event because of computer problems.

If you already have an account, log on & check your profile information. Make sure everything is current.

Oh man already? I had planned on it since last year was the first one I've missed in the last seven years but I haven't taken a month off and I'm not sure I can sell my wife on another five day trip after RR this month and the 48 hrs next month.

Good luck with the registration thing. You're a braver man then me.

Thanks for taking on the job. You are a brave man. Looking forward to registering and attending the event. Its always been my start to the season but this year Sebring in January (PBOC) gets it off to a real early start. Can't wait to be back in the seat.

At what time on the 14th does registration open and in what time zone is the server located? This was kind of an issue when Potomac went online years ago.

Gonna try and make this event this year.

Midnight on the 14th is when it opens. I believe the server is in Florida. Terry can correct me if I'm mistaken
