Damn, for a minute there, I thought they had gotten hold of the home video taken by this crazy chick I used to date when I was single.

I have one, and it tows beautifully. I have only experienced one of the "problems". It is the bed bounce, which occurs in one stretch of highway that has expansion joints at a certain frequency. Anything in the bed stops it, or going a little faster or slower also stops it. This is only my second truck, and it is much better in some ways, not as good in others. If I had it to do again, I'd buy it in a minute. Great ride, great towing, and great mileage. Did I mention quick?

I use a 2wd 99 Dodge 2500 V10 Quad cab for my tow vehicle. I don't seen any need for 4wd for towing or daily driver use for me. Once on the paved roads (wet or dry) 2wd will tow the same or better since you don't have the extra hardware or ride height to deal with. Snow or muddy paddocks are the only place 4wd may be nice.

ALL trucks can be obtained in 2wd or 4wd mode. Dealers may like to stock 4wd trucks, but if they get "stuck" with a 2wd one they may sell it cheap.

Anyone have any experience with the new Sequoia 08 ? Has increased towing cap this year and is a bigger vehicle.

Yes, in at least half of the State, and the skiing isn't bad if you can't get to Colorado for the short trips.

Yes it does, but not where I live. Ok it has snowed 2-3 times in 25 years, but not enough to worry about. Even so 4wd is only good in real snow (ice is bad with either). If the plows come by soon after the snow in your area it is no big deal. I went so school in Boston and had a 2wd nissan pickup truck. Even with all season tires you could get by without 4wd. The worst times were when I HAD to move the truck during the snow fall. You needed to be careful. Even so the roads got plowed fast so the next after the snow fall you were fine with 2wd.
