Default Kumho V710's at only 1.5 Degrees Camber?????

A lot of guys in the POC are running Kumho V710's. I just bought two sets for my IP car. The "care and feeding" instructions said the tires work best at 1 - 1.5 degrees camber. Everybody in my class is running 2.5 degrees or more. Is this a bad tire choice for me? Or should I just ignore the 1.5 degree recommendation?

There was a thread about the V710's within the last few weeks. It was about the trread coming off. I had this happen in 2006, but mine may have been from a puncture. My camber is about 3 neg front, and 2.5 neg rear. If 1.5 (neg?) is recommended, then that may have been my, or the other's problem.
