Well last nites race had more CARnage than a Nascar event. Last lap finished up with only 2 cars on the track and no one unscathed.

I think 30 laps may be a tad long. Tires started really falling off around 20 laps. At around 25 it started being a handful and I was having a hard time holding it on the uphill righthander when I bobbled a little. Next thing I know I got a love tap from behind
(JL) and we were tumbleweeds in the infield

Tried to continue after that but the car just would not accelerate.

Fun race

Yeah, and I get blamed for tapping.....

I really only had a little "entanglement" with Gary at the beginning of the race, after that I pretty much run by myself till I destroyed the car......

We should try 25 laps tops next time.....

See, the way I look at it 30 was perfect! I caught Jimmilew at around lap 25 but that blocking bastige was impossible to pass OR shake up! Nice race Jim, your consistancy won it! I'll be posting some screenshots later on..

I like the 30 laps, particularly if you are running at the end of the race!

Sorry about the tap there, Jester.

Gary, its one thing to catch up (yeah, you are faster), buts another thing to get by!

Lots of fun had by all. Looking forward to the next race.

Some highlights of last nights race.

The pace lap was pretty calm, but "someone" got into the back of Jester from the looks of things as his tailpipes were pushed in. Benzyne jumped the gun, passed the Pace car JUST before the Green Flag and pulled a Stop and GO Penalty. Apparently Dan learned a big lesson at Road Atlanta as he shot through the middle and took an early lead! I went too wide trying to give racing room to Jimmilew on the inside (a mistake I won't make again) and dropped a few spots but (in the rear of the pack at the start) it's a much safer place to be... normally. Boston had a bit too much adrenalin and went on a flyer into the grass in the left hander, unfortunately for me he stayed in it and took me out too! 3rd turn in the 1st lap...
He ended up on his roof and back in the race we went. It was pretty uneventful for about one more whole lap. DanR lost it in the downhill and ended up in the left wall on exit and was ok. Well, he WOULD have been if he didn't decide to do a K-Turn to get back on the track! He backed up right in the path of the 3 leaders and Sysgen just couldn't avoid him. Dan lost the rear of his car and Sysgen's front end came off and his motor blew somehow. Hey, I am moving back up! With Benzyne's Stop and Go that's 3 down! Jester and Jimmilew had a long run for the 1-2 spot (about 15 laps!) until Jimmi gave him a love tap at the peak of the uphill.. bad spot to engage. They both slid on their roofs but apparently damage to Jim was confined to his roof. Jester was out of the running and now i'm reeling Jim in! Well, Jim just doesn't like to be passed. Actually, think Jim HATES to be passed! I tried a couple times but just couldn't make them stick and he wasn't *quite* doing anything that deserved a love-tap so after over-shooting T1 on lap 29 it was all over! Nice job Jim and all, looking forward to next week!

Don't feel bad, Jimmilew and Jeste911 slid on their roofs all the way from the uphill to the exit of West Bend!!

Arrrgh! You guys are killing me with all the fun you are having!

We've been sick. First the kid then me now my wife.

For the last 4 days I've even had to step in and take care of my own kid! Can you believe the inconvenience?!

What kind of times are competitive. I'm not getting a lot of practice but I can't get below a 58. How are you getting under 54's?

Just making a suggestion as you had mentioned you were going to shut down the server and play next winter, which would include the set race schedule, correct? i had not seen an actual race time and i apologize for not being thorough. You dont have to worry about me bringing anyone outside of the Rennlist circle, though they are Porsche owners. I dont think you want them there anyhow seeing as they run in the 50's at Limerock for qual and 51's in race trim. I know i cant beat them.

He also doesn't like anyone in front of him. The little nudge that put us on the roof is a clue to that fact.

I prefer to do my passing legitimatly on the track, not on my roof in the infield.

That said, Gary isnt wrong.

Great pics and lots of fun.
