The 911 in that mod is way too easy to drive I think? For as old a car as that is, with the threat they made about it not driving like a modern car, its too easy IMO. I was expecting a much more difficult car to drive. In fact it drives easier than a 997 Cup car? I tested it around Nordschleife and it was one of the easiest car ever to drive with, whereas the 997 is one of the hardest cars to drive at Nords, notably due to it true snap oversteer. This car really has no snap oversteer at all, it just likes to drift the rear end alot, which is fun, but somewhat easy to catch and control if you drive it as such.

For such an unsophisticated and old car, albeit slow, I think it drives too well, too forgiving with too much grip. Old crap tyres alone should leave that car without grip on some of the fast corners of Nords I would think, but it takes those corners with more confidence than the 997?

Did you re-set the gearing? It was waaaay to long when I tried it at Sebring, though I did manage to do a barrel roll accross the track and into the sand exiting the S's!

No, I realized they were way too long on my Nords lap, due to the lag shifting between 3rd and 4th, but I don't think that affected the handling that much really. It played with the exit handling abit, 2nd was too short, 3rd too long for anything that you wanted to do. But overall I am not sure that had much to do with anything. Couldn't use 5th anywhere, but the car still didn't simply have the power to redline 4th gear hard even on the long straight. Topping about 136mph on the downhill portion at the end.

Hey!

On this new set of cars there is a folder call "HPM Setups" Where do I drag that to install it? I don't see any similar files that would clue me in.

This is very cool. The 906 and 910 plow like pigs so I'm wondering if the setups help at all.

I haven't spent much time with it because of the way it ran out of the box. I tried moving my seat forward so it didn't feel like I was sitting in the engine compartment but the nose of the car looks like some sort of wedged up mess. Gearing is porked, can you change it? I'll stick with the 997 Cups for now..

Yeah and don't share with us how you take care of it. As Nike says
"Just Do It."

Okay, just for the record. I am not going crazy or blind. I hit the back button and this is what I read.

Road Atlanta Practice race tomorrow, 2/13 at 8:00 EST. Qual at 7:45.

Gary, that sneaky dog pulled a fast one on me and had me going.

Does anyone know when the race is?

It was originally scheduled for 2/13, now it is on 2/14?
