Funny Walter Rohrl/Nurburgring story...
Saw this on PP Boxster Board - can't verify, but very funny if true:
"Paraphrasing from the latest issue of EVO:
Rally legend Walter Roehrl was driving at the Nurburgring recently in a Ferrari 599 that he was evaluating on behalf of Porsche. He found himself gradually gaining on a black car in the distance. Eventually he is within a meter from the back bumper of what turns out to be another 599. Going into one of the last corners, its driver makes a mistake and Roehrl dives up the inside. Later, the black car draws alonside, its window winds down and the driver calls Roehrl a 'lunatic'. Mind you, Michael Schumacher never was a good loser...

What's cool is how normal it is for Walter or other famous drovers to be hanging out at the Ring either on the F1 course or Nordeischleife. Walter was there last time I went ( he was driving a CGT). Tough life he has.
