Also consider an Aluma trailer - I have an 18' Model 8200 and it is great!

I have a 2007 Motiv open trailer (Made by ATC). All welded full floor. I like it and it tows really well with my GMC Sierra (5.3L) dedicated tow vehicle.

I tow with both a Trailex and ATC. Personally, I like the ATC better and think it tows a little better. You won't go wrong with any of the trailers you metioned, so it comes down to what you like.

I had an ATC open 18'. Towed very well. I did not like the ramps being stowed on the side. Trailex's are right under the mounts. Trailex also have a clip system that prevents the ramps from jumping off the mounts. That happened to me once with the ATC. My workaround was to weld a 1/4" plate to the bottom of the ramp foot. This prevented the ramp from teter tottoring. They don't provide a wheel stop either, not a big deal. The full floor is a very nice thinkg IMO. I also liked the $2500.00 savings over the Trailex. Served the same purpose and did it very well.
All the units you are looking at will do a great job of getting your toy to and from events. Good luck.

Actually Randy makes a good point about the ATC trailer ramps. Carrying the ramps (even though they are light) from the front side of the trailer to back is sometimes inconvenient, especially if someone parks too close to the side of your trailer. That said, it tows really well.

Definitely get rear loading ramps. I too have had to either move my rig or ask my paddock neighbor to move because we were parked too close together (when I had a steel trailer with side ramps).

I have a ATC and I love it! It is the best open car trailer I have ever pulled.
