Default Lap Timer Transmitter Frequency?

I have an AiMs Data logger with a portable transmitter. I believe that PDA/NASA in my area uses TraqMate and do place a transmitter out for their use.
Are the transmit frequencies the same? I don't want to place my transmitter out and mess up everyone else using TraqMate datalogging.

IIRC, AIM systems use an optical pickup (infrared LED), not radio frequency (RF). Do you want to know the optical wavelength of the AIM beacons? I'm sure Mike down at Aimsports in VA could tell you.

When multiple beacons are put on track, proper setting of the obscuring time will prevent false/double triggers.

(my son races karts, so learning to work with AIM beacons is a must)
