Default For Newbies to the track!!

I found a magazine called "High Performance Driving" at a local bookstore. I wished I had read it before my first DE. It is extremely informative, even after a few DE's under my belt, and includes a DVD. It's around 10 bucks and well worth it in my opinion. I have no affiliation. It covers a great deal of basic stuff...heel/toe, apex, etc. Best of all, it has an RS on the front! Maybe it will help some guys/gals who are interested in taking their Pcar out for a track day.

I agree, it's pretty decent for the newbie. An Elise owner created it, and there's been a lot of discussion of it over on elisetalk for those interested. I am also unaffiliated.

Sean, I figured you would save me some time (and God knows I need to do that on the track) and give me a summary with main points and bottom line.....

Sheesh, break loose with a couple bucks and buy it! Charge it off to next year's ALMS budget!

Here is the book of the same name, get this too!

I am running 18's, otherwise I would have considered them.....
Although, you probably meant barely usable......

That is my typical response

Busy with 2008 planning at work so I'm applying my main points and bottom line elsewhere

Well I just saw the cover and lost all respect for the magazine when it read "Alan wilson Q&A - America's #1 Track Designer Reveals His Expert Secrets" ...

Alan Wilson - Expert - same sentence - nothing good will come from it...

Wow mooty...that's awesome! And, your friend did a great job on the magazine. I read it just before I did that sport driving school in Germany. Helped a bunch!
