Default Custom race exhaust fab in Virginia/DC area

Any know of an exhaust fabricator who can weld up a custom reducing pipe in the Northern Virginia area? I know all the local porsche shops, but I'm not interested in paying $500 (exagerration - slightly) for what will amount to a 18 inches or so of piping.

Preferably someone who has done race work in the past...

matt what do you need done?
there is RRT (bimmer shop), piper, Finction Auto (race/street shop), and all of which do great work.

if its a small part take it to a local muffler shop and have someone there do it.

Idea is not to pay Funktion, IMA, ASG, etc... In other words - pay exhaust prices, not mechanics prices ;-)

There's a guy in Stafford Va. who'se shop name is "Roberts Custom Exhaust" He shoe horned a 2.5 inche dual exhaust under my datsun 260Z/V8 project a few years back for $600. I plan to use him with my newest Zcar/V8 project, as well as JMac's Zcar project... Look him up in the yellow pages...

Matt, what are you looking for and what is the time frame? I might be able to help you out with some simple pipe welding and metal beating. My shop is crammed with furnature and building materals right now but the addition should be done in under a month.

Thanks for the responses Mike/Kurt. I found a local muffler shop that had the particular flex piece that I needed (I had assumed it was exotic - I was wrong). So I'm good.

Kurt - may take you up on the welding at another point, though. Do you do aluminum? It's brake duct time
