Default PCA - Nord Stern at Brainerd - DE and RACE. Who's Going?

Who's going to the Brainerd event this weekend?
I'll be running the DE.
Let's see if anything I learned at Road America 2 weeks ago stuck.

Does anyone have the schedule?

Me! Me!

Vampyre and Jim B. are registered although sometime lurker Pat K. isn't.

Check out the Nord Stern web site for the schedule for the weekend. VSCR, a local vintage racing group, will also run in a group at the event this weekend. Should be great fun!

Steward...
Found the schedule. Thanks!
I don't know that i'll be up before Friday afternoon.

Look for #101, a black widebody '74. I'll buy you a beer.

Signal orange '73 RS #3 for me. see you Friday.

Forgot that JR944, formerly from St Louis, now from Denver, is also coming. JR, note that the class record is a 1:51.7. Guess who set it!

The legendary Walt Fricke will also be there, returning to his home state to race after being gone a long, long time.

I wouldn't miss it. I've never understood why this isn't a huge race. It's a seriously fast track surrounded by one of the best resort areas in the country.

Pat, you can be my driving coach and data engineer for the weekend. Same pay as always.

I had heard that it will still be possible to run the original full course, or use the new shorter/slower "infield" course. Did I misunderstand?

Ahh...just pull the ballast out and run as a D car, only need to dip a little under 1:50 to get your name in the record books...

I think a lot of people are afraid of going that fast.
