Ok, clearly not dramatic from the perspective of having the advantage, but you can't claim this is 1.5-2 car lengths!! It is dramatic when you have to work to make up that disadvantage every lap...

Sorry to see your car get a "character mark". I know how you feel about power as my car leak down following the Glen had 40 and 60 and four of my cylinders which explains why I was drag racing E cars. Only good news is I still pulled 2:13s in my D car after they "Techron flushed the valves", so an engine rebuild should give another second or so.

Your vid quality is really great what filter/camera combo are you using?

Some people over-compensate their analysis when reading "objects in mirror are closer than they appear" in their side mirrors...

This kind of stuff woundn't happen if you'd stop following C cars.

Hopefully you'll have your car back together before Road America.

Yeah, damn those C class 996'.

The damage appears minor, I'd be surprised if it kept me from Road America. Whether or not I have a 38D-fighting engine for Road America is the bigger question. I could make up the 6-7 car lengths he gained on the one long straight at Mosport, but I'm not sure I can do that 3x/lap with the three long straights at Road America.

Hey, that's racing. You quickly judged a situation and made the most of it. I was in the tower at the time and I think you were the only one who pitted in the situation (some might have already been in the pit). Well deserved!

Charlie, I am sorry to see you car get damaged. May I ask a question? You say "he hit my left front fender" but from the video it looks like you hit his right front fender and/or door instead. Was this just a manner of speaking, or do you really believe he hit you when you were behind him? (agree that this was a sad racing incident)

The difference in those pictures is that my car was able to stay in the draft, which helps both cars go faster. Your car was not. I'll try to post some footage of me following you, and you can see that when I was not in the draft, the speed delta was pretty darn small.
