Any reason I see a lot of thermal blankets on the exhausts of these cars and not the Swaintech coating? Seems to me the Swaintech works just as well, and has the benefit of being permanent (and I would think is lighter).

Also, this gold foil stuff really is amazing. the electronics behind the false firewall now stay at whatever ambient temperature is, rather than getting hot to the touch. My aluminum air filter housing which before would burn your hands when you tried to remove it now only gets warm.
