Funny, over here, we think ITV is **** - pig ignorant commentators, trivialisation and too many commercial breaks. I prefer to watch it on Austrian TV or Premiere, as do most people who have the option.

Incidentally, can you recognise the yellow car in the shot before the Gallardo? And identify the event at which it was taken?

It requires a cable subscription in Bavaria (to get Austrian State TV and Premiere Sport), a TiVo type PVR connected to a highspeed internet connection and a computer - so you route the tv pictures over the internet to your TiVo in the US. Routing in space gets expensive. lus a nerd to mash it all up for you.

Alternatively, look out for Dutch people and ask them how they get Dutch TV in the States, one of their channels (SBS???) broadcasts F1 with a funny fould mouthed commentator.

In most EU countries, F1 has to be broadcast on Free To Air TV, so the coverage on pay to view channels like Premiere Sport has to be good. German FTA coverage is long on length with terrible commentators apart from Nicki Lauda, who is always outspoken.

A set up as I have outlined, could easily be expanded to include Sky, so you could watch, F1, DTM, Le Mans, SuperCup German Carrera Cup, A1GP, GR2, WTCC, BTCC, FIAGT, Britcars, Aussie V8s and a host of other auto and moto racing.
