GP2 Bizarre First Lap
Holy Crap.
I just watched the GP2 race from Magny-Cours, and holy crap I've never seen a start like that in my life!
The 2 iSport team members, sitting front row on the start, took each other right out of the picture in less than a hundred feet... literally wiping themselves off the track, well out of the way of everyone else, making the 2nd row the new 1st row.
Surreal.
And then a HUGE off with one of the drivers (Visso?)... caught some wheel-to-wheel with the car in front of him, launched into the air, rolled, smacked into and slid along the top of the wall and came to rest hundreds of feet away. Very scary. Was airlifted off to the hospital, and seems to be fine with only a major concussion.

Just saw that on Speed Report- and I thought Kubica's crash was scary.... WOW... thank God he's ok and didn't take any corner workers with him!

That was the most amazing series of incidents in one lap of racing I have ever seen. Thanks for posting it! It looks like everybody just went into instant brain fade! Thank heavens everyone seemed to have survived all of that mayhem!
