Default 911 owners - where do you mount your fast or cool shirt coolers?

As the title says. Also would be helpful to know where you put ballast if you run with it.

Thanks

Gary, you can get the ballast and the cooler in there? After two sprint races today, I'm ready for some cooling. The 90 minute enduro is going to be a bear tomorrow.

Depends on the ballast type you use but I was going to put some lead under the passenger seat and make my own mounts for it. The plate for the cool shirt cooler I just put in the footwell with two bolts and I put the on/off switch in my radio delete plate. I connected it with two insulated spade connectors so it was easy to remove. I also started running my spare tire which added 20 LB up front... My car was 2735 with me/spare in it and 3/4 tank so I really needed ballast.. don't now though!

Mine is on the passenger floorboard running front to back. Anyone who rides can place their feet on either side of it or in front.

Ballast on the passenger floor.

My cooler is the 8 gallon round type and fits perfectly in the passenger side rear seat. I use eye bolts in the seat belt holes and strap it in against the fire wall. Controls for the cooler are mounted where the radio use to be.

No ballast in my GT3S car but my cooler sits behind the driver seat. ballast in the 993 track car was in the passenger front and rear floor, cooler sat in the passenger seat.

You can five point harness it in your passenger seat for easy removal !
