Steinels Mid Ohio Club Race Help
I would like to send the biggest thank you and a huge endorsement
to Steinel's in Twinsburg Ohio. I thought I broke a gear box Friday morning of the race weekend. Billy and his guys were heading to the track. We flagged them down just as they were driving in. Note, I have never worked with Steinel's in the past, I was not a current customer. Billy sees me jumping up and down in front of his van. He drove my car, pulled the fluid from
the box and suspected it was fried.
Its now 12:45 pm on Friday. He called Eric and Andy at the shop. They found a spare tranny sitting in the shop. (no limited slip). They told me to load the car and bring it in. I arrived at the shop at about 3:30 and by 6:00 pm (remember its Friday night) my car was back on the trailer. Not only did they swap the gear box they looked all over the car and suggest some stuff to fix.
I just can't say a big enough thank you! That was just the start of my obstacles over the weekend. I lost a power steering pump, broke the alternator adjusting rod (twice) and snapped a CV bolt when I was checking them after the tranny install. Of course Billy had extra CV bolts at the track.
So, if you are within a 24 pull of Twinsburg Ohio and need something done
with your Porsche call these guys. http://www.steinels.com/
Thank you guys. Without you the weekend would have been lost.

Eric and Steinel's did a PPI for me a few years ago on a C4S I purchased, and did some of the recommended work for me that came out of the PPI. Had an issue later with some rebuilt wheels (that they subcontracted out) and they made me whole. A good shop.
