Mac,

Mark has it right, but my 993 is a coupe. So I'll try black paint, black interior, and.......................black calipers?

Mark,

I enjoyed catching up with you again at the Road Atlanta club race.

Been droving back to Y O Ming for the last couple of days.

Why thank you Mac.

And it always seems where ever I find you, I find adventure. Mac definitely knows how to have a good time. And his girls have more expensive hobbies than he does...

I will be at Daytona, and will bring a full contingent of Midwest turtles, and hopefully one wyoming turtle

I thought to myself, "I've seen this guy's picture somewhere." In my mind I'm scrolling through pictures of every well-known racer and race team owner I can think of. No matches.

Only when I asked this guy's name did I realize I was standing next to someone REALLY famous. It was indeed the head turtle. I then recognized him from the Sebring adventure pictures. He actually is much thinner than those pictures show (well, at least a little bit).

Mike, stay in E. You can run 2 seconds slower than several F cars and still have a chance at winning. ;-)

See you at Daytona!!
WHAT! Slightly overweight? I am ballasted to give guys like Inglot, Crossman and Phillips a shot.

The team owner that should have come up as a match, Jerome, is Flavio Briattore. You know, the guy with the supermodels.

Good meeting you too, Jerome. I'd consider E, but those cars are expense. The only reason Jeff can afford the car is he's single.

Speaking of Jeff, someone ask him what happened in Buck's Bar with him and the door prize of red racer's duct tape...

Dan, I dinged my motor, then Mahle finished it off.

I was going to cancel Mid-O since the car wouldn't be ready in time, then Jeff said no way, you can drive my old car. Little did I know he was just looking for someone to pay for a bunch of new parts to replace the ones falling off his car.

And congrats on your son's nuptials. We'll see you at Sebring, right?

I thought triple black on a coupe included the headliner...

Mike,
Thanks for the plug. Marty wants his duct tape back. Calvin is looking for you.
How many sisters made it back to the hotel?

I'm thinking we bring 5 rolls to Seibken's Labor Day weekend. It does make for a memorable evenings relaxation.

I hear Cal was laughing, which is a good thing, him being from Detroit and all.

As far as I know, no sister went to the hotel. However the Team's Grid Girl Procurer can't account for 2 hours of the late evening. I'm sure the older two sisters will give the young'un grief about this the rest of her life. "Sweet Mother of God WOW"

They have a unique race at that weekend.

Instead of an enduro, they have a Top Gun Challenge.

Each car is handicapped by it's best time of the weekend. The slowest car starts first, based on it's handicap, the next car starts after it's alotted handicap time, etc, so that all cars will theoretically finish at exactly the same time. It's a hoot.

In theory, an I car can beat the entire field.

As the HWFMR Regenmeister, I'm proud to point out that I'm every bit as fast in the wet as in the dry. Some like to point out that I'm every bit as slow in the dry as I am in the wet. I prefer to see it my way.

Hope to see some Turtles at RA this weekend for the DE. I'm running a high power TT in the slow run group B2. (Red number 910). It gives me many overtaking opportunities. I only have to watch out for the pesky 944T's.

Cheers,

Larry, it's 640 miles for me, 686 miles for you. With the right motivation, you could make it in under 9 hours...

Strangely enough, I did my first DE there, in my '85 Carrera. It's a fun course and very safe.

If you play Judas Priest's You've Got Another Thing Coming the whole way, you'll keep the throttle floored until you hit the first Indiana strip club sign.

No top gun race this year boys. OVR decided to go with the regular old enduro.

I thought about going but I gotta get my 5 NASA races in to run the nationals. Missed two possible doing the MO club race.
