A big bag o' money still probably won't get you a new one. It has a lot to do with being in the right place @ the right time & knowing the right people to find it/get the deal done. We are fortunate on that last one around here

Jay is right it takes more then a big bag-o-money unfortunatly there are more people that can write the check then there are cars so there is always a list.

Lots more!

I'm really glad you guys ended up with this one

PS: I heard their was a 997RSR @ the Mid-Ohio PCA race this last weekend. Talk about un-obtainium! How do you pull that one off? Regular cups are common place compared to those things

I have been drooling over it for the past few days in the garage trying to come up with paint etc. Getting radios mounts, camera, cool suit, windshield film....damn there is so much to do. Looks like i will only be out to spectate at MSR next weekend.

I'm guessing pops will be hanging on the beach

We'll be @ the Barry Bungalow although I hear our famous, or shall I say, infamous compadre may be going to The "Glen" instead

No, no 997 RSR there. Rene had his 997 Cup with his spare RS motor installed. It was wicked sounding. And there was a 996 RS there, but not RSR.

Gotcha. I thought it was a little soon for one to be out running around amongst the general population. I saw that his 996RSR is for sale. What a car!
