Default E track mounting Q

I am thinking I may use E track to use to tie down my race car and some accessories to the wall. For those of you who have it, what did you use to affix the etrack to the floor for the car tie downs and what did you use to mount the etrack to the wall? I've looked at several different sites selling the track and accessories but none of them really say how to affix the etrack to the trailer. TIA

Hi John
I use E-track on the walls to mount shoring beams (for tire racks); CargoPro recommended that I use self-drilling screws, which I did; they seem to work well.
They are driven into the aluminum studs; you will need to figure out the proper size based on the stud configuration of your trailer (you might try contacting them).
Hope this helps; how to mount it to the floor I don't know.

If you are going to use the E-track to secure car, I would suggest bolting at 12" to 16" centers, using big 3/8" to 1/2" Grade 8 bolts, and BIG washers.

I have a new Pace with E-track on the walls and floor. I would give them a call and ask how they attach and rate the attachments. I would say I was interested in a Pace of course...

I had E track in a karting trailer and secured the karts and tool chest, etc- mounted it by tapping holes in the trailer frame and bolting the track down. If you were securing a CAR I'd tap some pretty big bolts as well!!
