Does WGI have electric hookups in the paddock area? If so, do you have to get there early to get a space?

The Glen has hookups in the garages. Plenty of them.
The garages are usually assigned by the organizers so showing up early will not get you one. Signing up early does help you reserve a spot.

What do you need the outlet for? For charging up a power tool or hookup up a computer many people will let you use the hookup in their spot.

Oh, my kids will be there and I was thinking microwave, TV etc. I have a generator but was just thinking it would be nice not to be running the thing all weekend.

I've been there before but couldn't remember for sure. I also thought maybe if I paddocked by the back straight there might be some camper type hook ups over there.

There are some electric outlets in the paddock, but not every space and certainly not enough for everyone. First come first serve rules on them.
