I thought that 917 was the long wheelbase one.

This was one of my favorites. They were my favorite team until the
business of racing forced change. I'm a lizard fan now but I'll miss
this livery on a real racecar. Doesn't look right on a Ferrari...

Thanks! I appreciate the kind words.

For current Porsches, this year's Lizard livery is my favorite. But, my alltime fave Porsche livery is the Hippie 917. Also, some of the Gunnar Racing liveries have been interesting through the years.

One of my favorites is the Gérard Larousse and Willi Kausen Martini 917LH

A further comment on the razzzzzberry 92 car. Formerly owned by Jerry Greene, who is a long time Nord Stern member and club racer who raced hard against another long time Nord Stern member, Tommy McGlynn in D and then GTC1. Affectionately known as the Tom and Jerry show. Tommy never bit on the cartoon character livery, however.

Colin, it looks good as you've now got it but I do miss Jerry the Mouse!

hey, Jerry, how about putting the mouse back on your 996 cup car? You need to replace the hood anyway.

Great way to start off Monday AM and see the ol' - (great) ride here! Thanks Hacker-Pschorr
For any one picking out the "right" livery is ...... tough, and then to come up with something that has not been done before and is interesting is even tougher! Steward B. got it right with the "Tom & Jerry inception" Took place in Laguna Seca, back and forth... really fun race. But, the pallet has changed, and hopefully the stars will aligned (and the new hood) and Mid-Ohio could witness the continuing story of Jerry the mouse. Ah...side note, hood pins
