I dont get it. Sounds like and f1 transmission to me? No one could manually shift that quick. Any details on the car if they claim it is a cayman? Awesome car and driving!

I thought the same thing and I believe the video is "sped up". I came to this conclusion after watching the very starting images, as the two cars roll out of the pits. It just looks like a fast forwarded image. This would/might explain the fast shifts and the unbelievable speed?

This beast has absolutely nothing to do with a normal Cayman besides the obvious like the engine location, suspension points etc....

I have no doubt that were you to take the 997 RSR engine and drop it in a Cayman chassis, you could very quickly be able to drive rings around the 997.
Whilst their development is incomplete presently, funded privately, rock solid reliability is a little way away. I am, however, confident that the Cayman will turn into one of the most cost effective rent-a-racers around. It also has that terrific characteristic of being easy to drive quickly, but slightly tricky to drive really quickly.
