Default Evo "2" vs. Evo "L"

Is there any difference between and Evo 2 and Evo L seat?...other than the fact one has an "EVO 2" on the headrest and the other has "EVO L"?

I don't think so. No difference EXCEPT that I think the Evo "L"s are older. Check the build date sticker on the side of the seat before buying...

Great seats by the way. I love my Evo...

Think you have it reversed Jack.

evo 2 came first, now called evo L
evo 3 now called evo XL

i have evo 2's in my car and love them, but am probably going to a tighter fitting seat with H/S wings now that I race more / street less

From what I can gather is that they are going back to Evo 2...as folks don't like the L or XL "label"... I am trying to locate an EVO 2...they are due to hit the US shore in the next week or so...but there seems to be EVO L's out there.

I have an EVO 2 PLUS (build date Jan 07) in my hands now (I am 6 ft..it fits me perfect)...just need an EVO 2 or L for the passenger seat.

I will ask the build date on the sticker.

thanks

LOL... that's pretty funny. Luckily my skinny 6 feet fit into the normal Evo so I don't have to worry about them changing specs on me

That said, I bought an Evo 2 for the passenger side... I think you instructors must drink more beers than me!
