My limited slip was spent at the Road Atlanta race and I could definitely feel the difference - tire spin at turn 7 and 10A - plus had to take different brake approach into 10A - definitely cost me some time on the track. Just completed a rebuild so looking forward to next event.

Car tends to get set up a tad loose ("tad loose" would send most of you screaming to your mamas), but it picks up a mild push once I squeeze in some gas.
Driving with a open diff or a crappy LSD ? Yeah...to that a lot in the rest of the race fleet. The key is "start opening up the steering early", so you transfer some load back to the inside rear as you pull the trigger.
Also, one of the FWD'ers in the past was a fully welded diff. With FWD and a locker, if you're not in the gas, you don't have any steering. It forces you to be fast...or go home.
