Default I need instruction materials

Does anyone have either a power point or printed classroom materials? I am trying to put together a power point presentation and am looking for suggestions and starting points.

Thanks

I assume you mean about track driving? Or just any-old powerpoint?

I suggest you contact Christain20. His region, Florida Citrus, produces some fine instructional materials. Perhaps they will share. May not in PP form. I saw printed mat. only.

Good luck and on behalf of other students, thanks for the efforts.

I don't have anything, but the CVR, NER and NNJR Porsche Regions have a lot of comprehensive stuff on their websites about DE geared towards novice drivers.

I've always wanted to do a little video for classroom sessions - a demonstration of driving a turn on the racing line, demonstration of proper passing signals, etc. But I've never gotten around to it...

I think the key is to focus on basic terminology, flags, and saftey foundations (like proper seating position, both feet in, passing procedures, etc). The biggest risk is probably overwhelming them with too much information causing them not to remember a single thing!

Mitch,

I have a bunch of stuff from the Potomac club as well as some site I found a while ago about car control. Shoot me a PM with your email and I'll zip them up and forward them on.

I would like to freshen up our classroom materials as well. We are doing National PCA Instructor Certification this year at our event in June at Putnam Park. There will be a couple PDE guys there as well. If you guys could send me what you have I can convert everything over to .PDF's and then post it all in the documant library on the KYPCA website for everyone to use.
Thanks.

Thanks to all. I think I have enough material to do a competent job.

Now to find a projector!

When you're done, perhaps you'll share with some of the other reigons?
