Default Check out this piece of heaven on earth...

It will take some serious cash to live the dream, but there is plenty of that on Rennlist -

http://www.unlimitedspeed.net/site02.html

I was reading the HOA rules and the place sounds perfect. Track available 365days a year.

oh yeah - no affiliation yadda yadda yadda...

I posted this a while back. Haven't heard anything since I received it. Probably a pipe dream.

Looks like they have sold some lots & are cutting in the track from the newsletter/available lot map.

These "country club" type developments for people that love to track is such a great idea. They're popping up all over the country in places that have wide open space. Sadly, SoCal could support such a venture, but between the lack of open space and the environmentalists, we can only look at the rest of the country and only dream

I wonder if the HOA will fine you if you leave a trailer in your yard.

I was adding up the costs on this and it would be ridiculous. It would be great to play this rich man's game though.

It wouldn't be so bad except for the 1.5-2 mil anti. $1,800 a month for all the track time and golf you can play is a good deal.
I have an idea: Lets combine the resources of 3 people, find an owner and offer to pay the HOA monthlies for an open invitation to use the amenities.

This concept is surprisingly affordable at MotorSport Ranch in Cresson, TX and there are 6 houses already built and occupied. Not a pipe dream there.

The proposed motor-sports parks are appearing with greater frequency as the real-estate market begins to tank.....this tell you something? None I know of have been built and are in use.

If it looks like p**p and smells like p**p, it's p**p

Jay, I've often thought that you guys should plow up the runway in yours and Steve's neighborhood and build a race track on that land instead. You've got at least two racers living there already, you've already got the airplane hangars that will make great garages! It might run off all the stubborn old pilots out there at the same time...
