Nah, he just has the wing, no splitter. Anyway, if I did them both, then I'd have to monkey with shock settings & tire pressures and all that ****. I'd rather just drive. I can do pretty consistent low 1:57's in it at TWS as is, on RA1's, and have a ball doing it.

Well, that goes to show you just how crappy those Hankooks I have been trying are. James Clay told me they were just as fast as the RA1's, but Bill Kim said they weren't, and they sure don't feel like they are. They feel slower & slipperier, and your data proves it.
Too bad I have a whole 'nother set to wear through.
Seriously, though, on RA1's, my car is hooked up. The set-up is oriented to RA1's.
I am flattered that you were trying to keep up with me, though, in your fully caged race car!!

I think he's been taking lessons from the ryanZ06 'excuses for my times' book.

Nah, sometimes I just suck as a driver, and sometimes the car ain't hooked up.
Unlike some, I know the difference, and am not afraid to admit either. For instance, I sucked as a driver when George was behind me during the dust storm at MSR. Car wouldn't grip either, but I was not driving well, and said so.
And neither are excuses. But you girls know that, don't you?

Oh VR, young Grasshopper I have some advise for you:
Droving fast on track
One Minute Fifty Seven
You lie like a rug
I love ya man!
Seriously, you did have a passenger that day and he was a rather portly dude. (fact)

Bill, I will try to find someone who has Traqmate data for you. I'll ask around.
57's are actually pretty easy in my car, consistently, with no passenger, but they do require RA1's. I know some of the BMW stock-class racers were doing mid to high 56's in races, with the same HP as I have, with slightly less weight, a full cage, Hoosiers, and partial aero, so it is consistent. But yeah, a lardass in the right seat is worth at least a second, and these Hankooks, while priced right, just are not as fast as the RA1's.
I am going to try to take another 100-150 pounds out of the car, which should give me another half to a full second.

You might want to look at the Nitto NT-01. You can buy them at discount tire for a pretty good price. They are supposed to be the next RA-1, but branded as a Nitto. I REALLY liked them. FWIW, my car put 186 HP to the rear wheels and weighs 3120#'s with me in it.
I just found out that my waste gate was worthless and only allowing 8 lbs of boost max, instead of the 11 lbs it should allow. I'm hoping to dip into the low 57's at TWS. Might need to do some lead-and-follow to pick up some pointers from you.
