Help: STOLEN TRAILER
I arrived at my office this AM and found some SOB had stolen my 20' Featherlite enclosed black trailer. Not only did the trailer cost some $$$ but the interior I fitted suited my purposes perfectly: all welded aluminum tread-plate and lots of goodies $$$$$$$$
The trailer was secured (multiple locks, bars, etc) in Longwood Florida. It has been reported to police and to my fellow track rats in the area. The trailer has my company logo on the sides, back, and roof. Once I figure out how to upload an image I will.
Thanks for any support on this

Really sorry to hear the news Christian - let's see if we can spread the word quickly.

Sorry to hear this.
I'll keep an eye out up here in the Northeast. The track season is upon us, so there will be trailers out there.
Did you have anything that was completely custom on the inside that would distinguish your trailer from other Featherlites? It's easy enough to remove vinyl graphics, but more difficult to re-do the interior.

Thanks for the lookout. Acutally friends of mine say the only thing missing was the stripper-pole. I Had LED's inside that I could cycle/strobe and a fairly robust stereo for those early morning wake up calls. Not a huge trailer but very efficient for space etc. I suspect like all theft its not the actual bits but the time and energy fabricating and installing.

So sorry to hear about this. I just got a bit of a false sense of security having the hitch lock, the ball lock, etc..installed in mine. Glad I have my insured. Never even thought about it until my agent and I discussed it and realized it was like $50 a year or something really low like that.
Sure hope they find it and catch the low low life piece of crap that did it

Sorry to hear it.
The sad thing is that it happens A LOT and the cops don't care. THey're too busy 'fighting crime'.
A lot of the stolen trailers up here head to the black hole of stolen equipment we call Quebec. About the only way to stop it or to recover what is stolen is to have a GPS transmitter (Boomerang/Lojack) installed. Locks help but there are ways around them.
Keep an eye on your stuff ... you never know who's watching.
Dell if your trailer is kept at home watch out ... there are lots of people coming and going from a construction site that is your neighborhood.

Christian-
I'm really sorry to hear about the theft. I remember looking at the inside of your rig at Roebling to get some ideas about completing mine. The disco strobe lights were a little over the top for my taste..
I'll keep a lookout for your trailer. Going to mid ohio in a few weeks...
Good Luck !
PS Post some interior shots if possible.

Jphillips-no except it is/was a spotless black trailer
Eddie-more for fun, need to have some flash. Never thought to take interior pics since it was mine.
Replacement: will have gps, considering reworking my warehouse to keep inside
