Default Why the RS Spyder won't be at Le Mans this year

Well, one of the reasons.

IMSA Competion did evaluate an RS Spyder LMS/LM programme over the winter but were told "too late" by the factory.

The man on the right in the first picture is Hugues de Chaunac, president of Oreca Groupe. The man on the left is Raymond Narac who will drive a new 997 RSR in the Le Mans Series and the 75th 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Oreca might race an RS Spyder in the Le Mans Series for 2009.
