Dave, I saw this happen during public laps last year from the main track entrance. (I think the video you showed is from the Breidscheid bridge entrance which I have never taken.)
A guy showed up with a spankin GT2 with Ruf everything on it. He left the toll plaza, floored it, must have been doing 140 mph before Tiergarten (which is maybe 2500ft down the straight away), lost it into the access road on the left and then into a guard rail. He made it through two turns....................
