the rule is to keep noise levels down. More cars = more noise is the theory. PITA for us though.

Chris their (Le Circuit's) explanation is that to keep noise levels down they will only allow 30 cars on the track at a time. They claim they will enforce this by counting cars at Pit Out.

It struck me as kind of odd today while driving from London to Ottawa on the 401 that there was so much resistance and suspect science to CMP from a certain portion of the population in Calabogie while thousands upon thousands of apartments and houses exist immediately adjacent to the highway.

I can hear highway 416 at night from my mom's house in Cedarhill. I wonder if they will limit traffic to keep the noise down? It keeps the dog up at night.

Chris that is an excellent point and one that brings some perspective to what some hold as principal against racing tracks.

Mr. Rouleau I don't have to worry about being wait listed with Rennsport, or do I? I hope you received my PM.

The Harleys are much much louder than any street car on a track. Performance boats with through hull exhausts are incredibly loud but granted they are also pretty cool too.

Tracks and their users are just easy, convenient targets.

Let's hope that they post somone at pit in to count the cars that come off the track on open day events. Perhaps a rocket scientist who can manage the equation:

Total cars =<30 =<(cars leaving pits-cars entering pits)

Best,

Best,
That's too bad. The traffic is 1/2 the fun. Maybe we could hide the "overflow" in the Russel Pits
