After VIR in early April my 993 goes into the trim shop. On April 22nd my 993 will look like it just left the factory. No issues. D stock and heavy.

Hi Bill

the 993RS has either the stock 993 lower dashborad BULKY.....or it had the lightweight systems from the 1978-1989 cars.

the 993RS cars came with or without A/C......so therefore as IBM sez "you make the call!"

lightweight hoods--- were available at the factory in AL or carbon compsite. They weigh the same .....no advantage-- no foul.

The RSCS rear spoiler moves you up a class to C from D. Unless you want to remove the blade when you run clubraces.

You have 993TT big red brakes.......moves you up to C stock
What will be your 1st clubrace? Clubracing with 'passin anywhere'.......anytime.............all the time....is alot of fun BUT expensive. Because the guys all more hardcore and buy new HOOSIERS @ $1200/set and toss 'em just like you wear dressshirts and drop them off at the cleaners after 1 day. My buddy Rafael and Hank used to buy 2 sets per weekend to win "at all costs"!

I tiresoak 'em to save money and buy only 6 sets of Hoosiers per year but still 24 tires @ $330/tire inst a cheap hooby like Golf

Joe, $330. a tire? Let me buy your tires for you. $217.56 275/35X18 Hoosiers
$212.05 245/35X18

That is over the counter in Maryland. First race is Lime Rock. Fresh Hoosiers for the race then 5 DE days on them. The Formula V tire treatment was a great idea. That stuff is awesome. I carried the sticking confidence into heavy rain which did not work too well.

Fikse 10.5 & 8.5 are en route. Shipped. Offsets will allow 285 rears for Pirelli slicks (non race tires of course)

Are you going to Lime Rock? Don't think you are getting away with the Pocono *** kicken again.

I will be missing in action @ the VIR long-course event.

My friend you'll be flying without your wingman...as I have mentioned. My wife has me in Utah tearing up powder instead.

You'll have to (as you succinctly stated) "club those baby seals.....all by yourself at VIR!"

I plan on doing several races this year. Im not that crazy about Lime Rock.....see you and raise you at Watkins Glen yes, thinking about Mid Ohio (10+hr tow is paininthe ***)Summit point yes,VIR yes (but wont get in), and some DEs mixed in and then I am racing SeaDoo Xps in the ocean/bay at the New Jersey shore.

Perhaps my buddy Rafael will have me on his 48ft 2500+HP Fountain unlimted raceboat this summer. The crazy brave bastard gave up D stock and is racing boats.......onward and upward but boats cost millions
