Hey does anyone have a program or an Excel spreadsheet/macro that can calculate laptimes from the time-codes of a video camera? The data-format is:
MM:SS:F# where MM = minutes, SS = 0-59 seconds and F# = frames 0-29 (30 frames/sec).
I'd like to enter data in two columns with start and ending time-codes with a third column with the calculated lap time. Anyone ever run across a program like this? Thanks - danno

The key is in the formatting of the cells.
Select in Excel, format/cells/custom. THen format the cells as MM:SS.00 Then enter the elapsed time into one column. The next column, just subtract one time cell from the one above it and you will have your lap times. E-mail me and I will send you an example. cstreit@interaccess.com
