Post I Thought This Was A Porsche Site

All I see is support for F1. What happened to support for Porsche Racing and John D's Rennlist sponsorship of The Racers Group. Posted a comment about todays race earlier and not one person wished John well with the event.

We are working with John D on this effort and rather than have John toot his own horn I thought I would for him because he has done so much for the Porsche enthusiast community. More open support for his efforts is certainly warranted by those that use Rennlist IMHO

And this post has nothing to do about the fact that you support the team right?

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate your sponsorship and all that you do for P in general but such wise *** posts are just not required

Bill,

I agree with Jean Marc. Personally, I'm very excited about the Australian GP this weekend. It's not our fault that we can't root for Porsche in F1. Go Montoya!!!

Plus, the Homestead event didn't exactly get off to the best start this weekend, and this may be tempering enthusiasm a bit.

Jean-Marc,

No it is not the motivation. John D and I are partners in Thalist.com and WE (John & I) are paying the bulk of the sponsorship cost.

Suncoast is a part of the Rennlist/Thalist/Suncoast Porsche package.

I find it difficult to believe that there is so little open support to John's racing efforts to bring Rennlist to the attention of more enthusiast. Then someone like you makes a negative post because there is a dealer in the mix rather than anything positive about John D and all he is doing for ALL of us.

Bill,
I would guess that most of us are proud that rennlist is a part of your sponsorship package. I am just not sure what you are asking for, and maybe if you came across is a different way you would get what you are requesting. Remeber you get more bees with honey.
Wishing all of the sponsors of the Racer's Group car a safe and succesful event. (Looks like they are fourth in class at this point)

Bill,

Like Greg, I'm not sure what you're asking for either. When you post, would you like for each of us to post "Go team" in reponse? Of course, we're proud not only of John D's efforts on Rennlist, but of his sponsorship of Racer's Group as well. Otherwise, we might not spend so much time here.

Your posts are typically informational, so there is not much to be said in response. Also, you might do better if you tone it down a bit (this seems to be a recurring theme, aye?).

Bill,

In response to your informative post, I turned on the race saturday afternoon, however, I didn't feel there was a need for me to have to tell you that I was going to watch.

As stated above, your post was rather informative and really wasn't worded to solicit responses. I think that by the very fact we are here, we are proud of the job you all are doing to promote the team.

I'll chime in - concurring with the others. I'm not sure what else there is to say to the posts about the Rennlist-sponsored races.

I support Rennlist, I'm a card-carrying member, I care about where our community is headed... it just seems a little forced to post, 'sig heil!!!' to each announcement of the next racing event.

Just an observation. Isnt this the bash rice, bash nascar, flamewar (huntley-SFR) site? I think its great to see rennlist sponsored cars competing and winning. Ive been an observer and contributor to some threads since this venue opened as "porschelist" ( oops are we allowed to say that?) The constant bashing of what others like (nascar,, rice rockets) and the vendor wars really have dampened my enthusiasm..Its my opinion, and I am entitled to it. oh yea. I need an LSD for a 901 tranny, and a k gear if any of you happen to have one laying around <img src="graemlins/c.gif" border="0" alt="[ouch]" />
