Throttle steering...

If you turn the wheel the other way, you'll get dizzy very fast.
You use the throttle, along with steering/countersteering adjustments, to get you pointed where you want to go.
Don't practice on high speed turns.

Though there are many techniques for throttle steering, the idea is to turn the steering wheel as little as possible, and modulate the throttle to point the car where you want it to do.
The amount of movement of the steering wheel should be very small: not more than say, 10 degrees.
Of course, what I'm saying applies to traditional track-type settings. Obviously, if your 'drifting' your Porsche, you'd need more steering input.
One more thing: everyting should be done very, very smoothly for throttle steering to be effective.
Just my $0.42.
