It all starts tonite! Looks like from newsbriefings there maybe perhaps some close battles at the front........unless as I strongly suspect the Ferraris are bigtime "sand-bagging"!

Actual live broadcasts are around 2-4am east coast time....but here are the normal times.

Friday 10PM eastern 7pm pacific
Saturday 930pm e. 630pm p
Sunday 9pm and 6pm

PORSCHE AG should have the GT3 SUPERCUP series highlights on TV and/or alteast sell some DVDs through the dealerships. Porsche would make millions.

Actually, the first round of qualifying (Friday afternoon) was on Speed last night from 10-11pm eastern. Ferrari had the fastest time but Rubens, not Schui, who was 4 fastest. McLaren's looked strong as did several other surprise teams including BAR (Villeneuve) and Toyota. BMW/Williams looks to be in trouble, managing only mid-pack times (Montoya).

Caught only some of that last night. The motor in the Villeneuve's BAR makes the most un-godly sound. I know the F1 motors turn at some incredible RPMs but his sounded like, well you know I have no idea what it sounded like I've never heard anything wound that tight.

Hi Gene,

I wound up injuring my arm this winter and it put the project at least a few months behind. I did however go ahead with the idea of Club Racing, submitted my paper work, was accepted into the program and will be sending in my app. to CVR on the eleventh. I'll still be using the 924S for the begining of the season in I stock till the other car is ready.

It didn't have the ratings, and was dropped. I believe PAG/PCNA paid for the space, but not sure.

Speed sometimes carries it.

So Couthard wins the Australian G.P. in LAST YEAR'S CAR! What's gonna happen when he gets into the new car??

I realize that Ferrari will likely wind up winning it all in the end, but maybe this will be a truly interesting G.P. season.

I didn't think I would like the rules changes, but that was the best F1 race I have seen in years.
