Thumbs up Mark Dalen and his Radical on TV

He was featured on SUPER2NR TV (?) on TNN today. He talked about the specs of the Radical and explained how its street legal in Europe, etc. He then let the interviewer take it out on the track (looked like Willow) for several laps. He spun it after a few and came in with a bruised ego.

Sam,
Thanks for flagging this - I was out of town, but had TIVO recording it as I didn't know exactly when it was going to air.

You are right - it was Willow. It was fun doing the segment - amazing what pro video looks like. The host (Troy Hanson who runs Infinity series) drove the car, but I had a rear bearing that was going out, so the handling was just a little dicey and he lost it in T9.

It was a great segment.

I was watching and thought "Hey! I know that guy!"

Then the show went on to talk about some Porsche's. Super stuff.

Thanks all. The 98 car in the Avatar is DJ. Identical car, but we know who is faster.

I still owe Mark one for running into the back of me, so he usually gives me room when I want to get by.

DJ

"I still owe Mark one for running into the back of me,"

That sounds like an interesting story.

Where did that happen? Pit Lane?

If anyone wants to see the clip (it is really quite good with lots of face time from our now famous rennlister) you can download it here. Mark converted it and I am hosting it for him. Please select save as from a right click so as not to stream from my work server. It is titled Mark and Radical on Super2NR TV Show.

Enjoy.

I hate to say anything bad about something that's provided for free, but it would have been nice to see some motion in the clip.
