FOR SALE PORSCHE CLUB RACER GT5 CLASS 914-6
WORKERS CHOICE AWARD and BEST BRAKING at last Event!!!!

This is a very fast, very competitive PCA Club Racer with Wins and Top Finishes!

CAGE: The car features a full cage with pickup points to all shock towers. Chromolly around the driver’s compartment extending to mild steel at both ends.

FUEL: The car has a 22gallon ATF fuel cell! Run Enduro’s without refueling or run a light load for Sprints! Dual Fuel Pumps, all steel braided lines with dual AN inline filters between Cell and Pumps, Fram Race Fuel Filter, Inline Fuel Pressure Regulator and Gauge

OIL and LUBRICATION: Car always runs Valvoline VR1 with oil changes after each event, DE’s included! OIL FILTER: FRAM HP8 Racing Filter

OIL TANK: Peterson, baffled and can be broken down for cleaning, All Braided Lines and AN fittings! Stock Oil Cooler on motor in addition to very nicely ducted additional SETRAB cooler in front nose! Car runs around 220 deg on very hot days in TX events!

CHASSIS, SUSPENSION: 911 RSR Front Struts Coil Overs with Koni Adjustable Inserts and Monoball tops. Front Spindles raised 19mm with ERP bumpsteer kit and Infinite Adjustment (Charlie Bar) Front Sway. Bilstein Struts Rear, Strengthened Trailing Arms and Factory Stiffening Kit


TRANSMISSION
Paul Guard “GT” POSI differential, plumbed with AN fittings for Butler Tranny pump and Setrab cooler, dumping cooled lube back onto mainshaft and Ring and Pinion, Close Ratio Gears A,Ga,Ka,Q,V This box with 3 different tire heights works very well at any track.

CLUTCH: Kennedy 4“Puck” Racing Clutch

FLYWHEEL: Extensively machined and lightened 225mm FW


BODY:1974 Open cockpit car with “Ginther” windscreen
Car comes with 2 configurations of Fiberglass bodywork
Narrow Body Configuration can be used to run SCCA with 7 inch rims and cantilevered slicks for GT3 or you can run 10’s all the way around in PCA with the narrow bodywork.
Wide Body configuration allows you to run 10’s up front and 13’s in the rear.

PISTON RINGS: Goetze 911S Rings

CRANK: 2.2 liter Non Counterweighted, balanced , polished, new plugs and oil passages clearanced by Ollies.

CYLINDERS: 84mm Mahle Nikasil’s from Engine Builders Supply

BEARINGS: Porsche Bearings

CAMSHAFTS: S++ Race Cams by WEBCAM

CARBURETORS: WEBBER 40mm IDA Carbs with many spare jets

EXHAUST: 1 5/8 inch Bursch headers featuring custom H pipe(more torque at low end) with megaphones or sport muffler for quiet tracks.

MANIFOLDS: PMO tall intake manifolds

IGNITION AND DISTRIBUTOR: Optic trigger in recurved Mechanical advance S Distributor fires a CRANE HI6 Ignition. Single Plug so motor is legal for SCCA and PCA!

CYLINDER HEADS: 2.2 heads with 46mm Intake Valves and 40mm Exhaust Valves, New Guides and Seals, 3 angle valve job, Aase Brothers Racing Valve Springs and Retainers (shim height approx 32mm.shim to90lbs on seat/260 lbs at max lift to equalize spring pressure for different Intake and Exhaust lift), ported to 36mm Intake and 36 mm Exhaust, port matched heads to intake manifolds. Headwork done by Bob Jones in San Antonio.

WHEELS: Duralite 3 pc(very light and strong). 4 16x12’s (run as wide as a 13 inch slick or 335mm DOT in rear!) 6 16x10’s (run as wide as an 11.5 inch slick or a 295 DOT in front!)

TIRES: Very Fresh HOOSIER SLICKS, 16x25x13’s on the rear 12’s and 16x23x11’s on the fronts. Also have 16x22x10’s to mount on the 10’s for the shorter tighter tracks(even lower gear ratios!)

SEAT: KIRKEY Intermediate with Brand New TEAMTECH 5pt Harness

GAUGES: Tach, Oil pressure, Oil Temp, Cylinder head Temp, Big Warning lights for oil pressure and Alternator, dual Air/fuel meters with O2 sensors at each exhaust header exit.

OTHER: Carrera 3.3 Oil Pump, Pressure fed tensioner upgrade, new timing chains and ramps, K&N Air Filters, car had recent service including valve adjust, oil change(VR1), trans fluid change(Redline) leakdown(around 6to7% on all 6 ) Car runs great and has terrific oil pressure(20-30 lbs hot at idle and 90-110 at rpms!)
