Post WTB: AMB Transponder

Just had my interview with Susan Shire of PCA Club Racing yesterday. I'm now officially signed up for Club Racing School at Mid-Ohio in May. I need a transponder and thought I would look here for a used one first. If any of you are getting out of racing or know someone who might have a transponder please let me know.

BTW, I looked at Mr. Dixon's on ebay and will keep an eye on it.

thanks,
Aaron

Yeah, I'm watching it. It is at $200 though. I was hoping to spend more like $150. At $200 I'll probably just order one from PCA that I can be sure works. I actually saw some SCCA region that had them for $230 new for their racers. They must have negotiated a better deal with AMB <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

BTW, the one in December's Pano is $235

Thanks for the tips.

I could be wrong but I don't think the SCCA Transponder prices are only for SCCA racers, I could have sworn that some NASA racers were getting theirs from the Altanta Region SCCA for the same price I got mine. Might want to check with some regional guys and see if they can help you. Oh, and I would definately recommend the hard wired type vs. the rechargable.
