Post Monocoque Racing Wheels

Does anyone have experience with Monocoque Racing Wheels? They are in So. Cal, it looks like, http://www.monocoquewheels.com/ They will cut the center out of a Fuchs wheel to make a three piece wheel in any size/offset you want. I'm wondering if instead of selling my two sets of 7/8x16 Fuchs and buying Fikses or somesuch, they'd convert them to 8/9x17s at the same or less cost. But I'm reluctant to trust my life to a wheel I've never heard of. They say they've been around since '65.
Thanks,

Brandon, My only concern would be that if you go to PCA Club Racing, they might not allow them. There are no rules per say against these wheels but I would double check with your local scrutineer.

Cheers, James

I have had Monoque wheels on my 3.2 ltr track car (914) for 5 years. They are not converted Porsche wheels however. They are very light and strong. I have never had a problem after over 100 races.
