Default X-Post 18" R-Compounds on 997 Carrera S

X-Post from 997 forum

Has anyone tried any of the following combinations? I'm looking to install a set of R-Compounds on my car this coming track season. 19" Pilot Sport Cups are rather expensive, and don't last too long, so I was thinking of picking up a set of take-off 18" rims (8" & 11") and installing Toyo RA-1 tires.

The overall diameter of the front tires:
Stock 235/35R19 - PS2s - 25.5"
R-Comp - 235/35R19 - PSC - 25.5" (same as 997 GT3)
R-Comp - 245/40R18 - Toyo RA-1 - 25.6"

The overall diameter of the rear tires:
Stock 295/30R19 - PS2s - 26"
R-Comp - 305/30R19 - PSC - 26.3"
R-Comp - 305/35R18 - Toyo RA-1 - 26.3"

From the above I am confident the RA-1s will fit even though my car has H&R lowering springs on them. I'm wondering if I'll get any rub.

Comments? Anybody done this?
