Post POC November race?

How many will be attending the race in Willow Springs the 29th and 30th of Nov???

Our team is pretty new, but we would love to meet you people on this list that are regulars at the events in willow. Hell, we'll buy the first round :-)

To introduce us, my name is John Anderson, my Partner is Mike Liera, our crew manager is Shaun, and our drivers are Tim Comeau, and Mitch Stahl.

We hope to meet a few of you at the event...just walk up and say "hi":-)

Take Care!

John,
Sounds like you lean towards the oddball drivers! Let's see... first, you've got Tim who raced a Sportomatic 911 for years... then Mitch who spent years trying to make a normally aspirated 968 engine competitive in GT3...
I hope their quirky notions haven't rubbed off on you. Seriously, say hi to Mitch for me. Last time I saw him was a couple of months ago at a TCRA event where our stock car broke a drive shaft on the first day. Mitch did a great job of holding off some pretty powerful machinery in his "968".
Good luck at Willow.

Regards,
David

Thanks David,

LOL, Yes Tim was running in the "sport O matic", but its his experience bhind the wheel that does it for us. He races cart also...and really does throw our car around the track, I'm impressed with him. I was really happy to see him let it loose at the last race, when he flew off in 9, I knew he was driving it like I want it driven....I tell him, "drive it like you stole it". he will be a full second (at least) next time.

Mitch, well, hell....he knows that track like he built it. He holds a record at willow, I believe its a :27, or close to it. He'll be running in the car next time out. I'll just put theme part bumpers around the car when he gets in, I have a feeling he's going to slinging it everywhere.

Hope to see you at the track!

take Care!

Don't be talking no trash about my Sportos! Drivin' is drivin. I've got 4 of those tranny's in my garage. They're good stuff. Which Dave was that? Bouzaglou? Oh, and John, I drive karts with a "K", not Cart, with a "C", as in Indy. Next thing you know, they'll be saying I'm from Brazil! Not that there's anything wrong with that..........TC

SAY WHAT DAVID???!!!

What do you mean by.."spent years trying to make a NA 968 competitive in GT3".

"TRYING"?!

I take it you did'nt make it to the PCA race at California Speedway?
Out of 37 GT3 cars...i placed 4th or 5th. I "tried"!

You can buy me a burger at Willow in Nov. to make it up to me...where's the love????????

<< ...where's the love???????? >>

Mitch,
I was merely quoting a point that you made from one of our many conversations; I believe it was when I was in your garage. You had mentioned that your stock 968 was significantly down on power compared to the modified 951's out there in GT3, and squeezing much more power was going to be difficult at best. My sincere apologies if that came out wrong. I've always felt that your success is attributable to your driving talent in conjunction with a well setup car.
See your mention in my Race Report: http://www.realride.com/race_event/tcra.html

So, enough grovelling on my part! Instead of a burger, I'll buy you a Lap Dance from one of the Rosamond strip clubs... you get your choice of Betty Sue (missing only her front teeth), or Emma (missing an ear from an accident involving a combine).

How's that gimpy arm of yours healed up? Obviously didn't effect your driving from what I saw at Willow. POC won't let us run our "ground pounders" out there with you guys, otherwise I'd come and play. Maybe I'll rebody it as a 928! j/k

David

John, I'm worried about you...

Seriously, though I'm no longer a 944 racer, I'm always appreciative of any company or individual who sponsors racing. Thanks for your participation in the 944-Spec. May the returns pay off ten-fold.

I thought I was the King lover stud of Rosamond! I always seem to get lucky at the "D.I. Club." My last one was lookin' hot at 60+. I thought she was a keeper because she still had all her teeth. Tight black leather dress. She smelled of Fixodent. I can smell her even now......Ahhhh!..She first caught my attention when she tried to blow me a kiss and shot her dentures across the dance floor. Some old geezer stepped on them and spun out,did a Seinfeld "Kramer" ending with a serious crash landing. The other old people just gathered around and started clapping because they thought he was break dancin'. Hell, the waitress, Tamil was coming around with test tube shots that I thought were Jagermeister. Turned out to be @#$%&* Geritol. Are there really any attractive women in Palmdale? Maybe they should have named it "palm - date",cause that's who I ended up sleeping with, my palm. TC

Oh yeah! Club D.I. is the place to be. Reminds me of the bar in Star Wars. The first time we went there was after Kenny Rumbaugh had excitedly told us that it was a "Rockin' Place". Knowing Kenny, I still can't tell if he was setting us up for a great prank or if he really did like it (he does have a Mullet after all!).
