Default Your Brothers from Colorado go to Sebring

Well, we worked a ghetto deal and eleven of your racing bretheren from Colorado are leaving our frozen tundra for the sunny climes of Sebring.

Most of us race in F, we've got one in H, one in GT3 and a couple in Cup Cars.

I'm looking for words of wisdom, advice, anything we should know about Sebring gleened from your years of experience there. We're pretty clueless when it comes to racing East of the old Miss'.

I Know Mark H is fast in F, I've been beaten by him before, who else?

Go easy on me, I'm just looking for advice.

We look forward to meeting all of you! This is about fun, right?

Thanks!

Turn 1 can bite you. It is deceptively fast; work up to it. You have to drag the brakes and slow well into the apex at turn 17. Most new drivers tend to stop too quickly and then get on the power too soon.

And search this forum and Trackpedia for videos. That will be a big help. Flying Finn has a pretty good one here, in a car that you can relate to. Though it is fun, you don't learn as much watching 500 hp monsters run the track.

Good to hear from you.

I don't think I'll be heading to MSR. I really didn't like the track. Love the Texans and love TWS but MSR is my least favorite track I've ever driven.

I plan to hook up with NASA for at least a race or two this year so I'll see you there. Probably Pueblo and Hastings.

We need names and numbers so we can recognize you on the grid.

Best advice is let any car with a turtle on it go by.
They are snappers.

There will be some excellent drovers down there in well prepared cars. But it's a lot of fun where ever you are on the grid.

Sorry Chris.........No slight intended. I just don't have enough brainpower to remember everyone who is coming. Plus you and Andy are arriving by conventional means. Can you imaging the looks on the faces of the folks when of all things an open car hauler that normally delivers Saturns to the dealership arrives at the gate lwith 10 race cars aboard!

Yeah, I can. We did the exact same thing there in 1996. The driver even set all of the cars out and took a picture. Don't let them load your car first on the bottom. Boy does it get dirty.
