Thanks for the tips guys.
Bill: I found the CVR Watkins Glen manual this morning. Good reading: well done!
Karl: I'm look you up at the Track. Will you be teching your car at Powertech Aug 6th? If so, I'll see you there: I'll probably be doing the topside tech checklists.

Zoltan,

Won't be at the Tech session as it's a long drive from DC area. I'll get the car done around here before I come up. See you at the track.

Hi Zoltan,

Just remember "late apex" in all the turns and
you will do fine. WGI is 2x as long as LRP, a little harder to learn, and 10x more fun. You will have a great time. Here is another document that describes the track for you:

See you up there in August.

Tom: Good to hear from you: haven't seen you at the track this year! (But I missed Mid-Ohio and Pocono II) Have you gone out at all this year?
Did you ever get that 944 turbo you were considering?

Eugene: Looking forward to seeing you there: maybe you can take me for a spin and show me some pointers!

Hmm: it's only 29 days or so away!

Zoltan,

Been out to LRP and WGI a few times all with other clubs/regions. Did not go to Pocono or Mid Ohio either. Mid Ohio is far but a great track from what others say. Maybe next time....

Are you doing autocross this year?

Yep: I've done three of the four NNJR events:
1 third place, 2 second place finishes. (At one event, I missed first place by 0.006 seconds! ) I think I'm in second or third place for championship points.
But fear not, the DE/Track bug has bitten me, and I favor playing on the track vs. playing in a parking lot!

Z Man.

We had great weather for Pocono II.

Sorry that you couldn't make it.

Well, you will be driving the Glen in just over two weeks. I know that you are going to like it there.

You are welcome to come out with me as many times as you would like.

How is your S2 coming along ?

Something about a wedding anniversary weekend with my wife that kept me from Pocono II...

Been reading the guides mentioned above, and viewing some on track video to familiarize myself with The Glen. I CAN HARDLY WAIT!

Thanks! I'm counting on it!

My car's running nice and smooth. I'll do an oil change before going, and switch the tires left to right, but that's all I'll need for now. Hopefully the thicker rear sway bar won't surprise me!

Thanks Eugene!
