Trailering a 964
(posted under 911 discussion as well)
I am about to embark on a 3000 mile trip with a 964 in tow and want to make sure that the P-Car is properly secured. Any advise regaring type of harnesses and how to anchor them to the car? I have been to "www.autometricsmotorsports.com" and have seen their tie down hooks solution (under shock mounts) but was looking for an easier solution.... Thanks!

Blake, this is the esiest way I know:
The strap goes through the wheel and then the ratchet goes to the tie down. Here is the link to the page where I found these. YOu can find these types of straps at most race shops. Some have the axle straps seperate, and others like the one above have them integrated to the ratchet and strap.
Anyway, buy 4 and once the car is on the trailer, run the fronts straight ahead to the tie down and cross the rears. Very simple and only takes a few minutes.
Good luck,
E. J.
