We regulary get about 125+ cars out each weekend... hop on a plane to Toronto and we can take care of the rest!

I grew up in SA, are you referring to the 12" of snow back in '84-'85? I remember school was canceled that morning so that wouldn't be Friday night? I think I was in middle school back then - all us neighborhood kids went crazy.

Sheesh - punk kids in middle school in '84. Some of us fossils were grown up and working.

Yes, I think that must have been around the right time.

You can ski in NH, VT and ME....the snow mostly came out of a gun, but you can ski. Spring conditions if you can believe it.

It's also just like Japan (tightly packed) because few trails are open and those high speed lifts put the yahoos all on the mountain instead of standing in the lift line.......

LOL!

This video shows a little more of the action -> http://www.deutscherautoclub.ca/imag...oonwipeout.wmv

Enough snow gets kicked up when you are in a pack of cars that the only way the "timers" can see who is coming by is by the number boards on the roofs... and yes some people do make thier cars look like pizza delivery cars.

Too much fun for a $300 car...

that's a pretty minor ice storm. when it gets to 1/2" thick then you got something.

we get what's on your at least a few times each winter.

when i step out of my igloo on the ice flow to harpoon a seal, the ice storm coated ice is pretty damn slippery.

Sack up, my coulito. I have 1" of sheet ice here, and my driveway slopes up aggressively to the street. You flatlanders in Houston can't possibly understand.

One more from Targhee for the skiers (and this is a less than average snow year)
